Position: Journeyperson Millwright – EAP Construction

Project Type: Industrial Projects (Various Sites)

Shift: Day shifts, Monday–Friday (weekends/overtime as required)

Start Date: Immediate


Job Overview


EAP Construction is currently seeking Journeyperson Millwrights to join our team for upcoming industrial projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heavy machinery and equipment across a variety of industrial settings. Candidates must hold a valid Millwright certification and bring proven hands-on experience working with industrial machinery in construction or maintenance environments.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Install new industrial machinery and equipment according to specifications
  2. Repair or replace defective mechanical parts and components
  3. Disassemble and reassemble machinery for maintenance or relocation
  4. Transfer, align, and secure machines at different project sites
  5. Review technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints to complete tasks
  6. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  7. Collaborate with other trades, site supervisors, and engineers
  8. Follow strict safety procedures and site-specific regulations


Requirements


  1. Certified Journeyperson Millwright (mandatory)
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Millwright in industrial or construction environments
  3. CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications
  4. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  5. Ability to travel to industrial zones and sites outside the city as required
  6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  7. Welding experience is considered an asset
