About the Role


EAP Construction is preparing for multiple upcoming projects starting in early 2026, and we are currently seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our team. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and experience working in industrial and civil construction environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of piping systems across various scopes of work.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Lay out, assemble, fabricate, install, maintain, and repair piping systems used for water, steam, chemicals, fuel, lubrication, and other process systems.
  2. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts and project requirements.
  3. Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  4. Install and secure pipes, valves, supports, hangers, flanges, gaskets, and fittings according to specifications.
  5. Perform pressure testing and use diagnostic tools to inspect for leaks and troubleshoot installation issues.
  6. Ensure all piping components meet project quality standards and safety requirements.
  7. Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to meet project deadlines.
  8. Adhere to all site safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.


Qualifications


  1. Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal required.
  2. Minimum 3–5 years of industrial or civil construction experience preferred.
  3. Valid safety certifications including:
  4. CSTS-09 or CSO
  5. Confined Space Entry
  6. H2S Alive
  7. Fall Protection
  8. Basic Rigging
  9. Additional certifications may be required depending on project needs.
  10. Ability to pass a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
  11. Strong understanding of piping systems, mechanical components, and industrial safety practices.
  12. Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and coordinate effectively with a team.
  13. Physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions and environments.
